Despite being diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) earlier this year, the 52-year-old star has chosen to continue working — and his return to set moved an entire cast and crew to tears.

A Diagnosis That Changed Everything
Eric Dane announced his ALS diagnosis in April. In his public statement to People Magazine, he expressed gratitude for the support surrounding him: “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.”
