The most unexpected moment, however, came shortly afterward. Feeling energized and enthusiastic, the bull became curious beyond the borders of his own pasture. One morning, I discovered he had pushed through a weak section of the fence and made his way onto my neighbor’s property, mingling with their herd as if it were an extension of his own. Thankfully, my neighbor found the situation more amusing than bothersome, and we shared a good laugh while repairing the fence together. As we talked, I couldn’t help but reflect on how quickly things had changed—from questioning the value of my investment to watching the bull become more productive than I ever imagined. It was a reminder that in farming, patience and proper care often turn uncertainty into success.
