The Economic Times described Dr. Jill’s decorations as including a “maypole that resembled a circus tent” and “window drapes … replaced with multicoloured ribbon, creating the illusion of a fun house entrance.”

No matter — Melania, as she so often does, is restoring some much-needed class to the place. Her theme, “Home Is Where the Heart Is,” brings back the warmth, dignity, and character the White House has been sorely missing these past few years.

“This Christmas, let’s celebrate the love we hold within ourselves and share it with the world around us,” Mrs. Trump said in a statement. “After all, wherever we are, we can create a home filled with grace, radiance, and endless possibilities.”

Melania’s décor goes big — 75 wreaths, more than 50 Christmas trees, 700 feet of garland, 25,000 feet of ribbon, and 10,000 butterflies. That’s not just festive; that’s a full-scale restoration of holiday spirit in the people’s house.

And to be fair, the Bidens did attempt to bring their own version of winter cheer to the White House. It was just… let’s say… a different kind of snow they were associated with decorating with — allegedly, of course.
