“Barron’s a very good student,” Trump explained. “He came to me and said he would like to meet someone you know: Charlie Kirk. I set up a lunch, he came back and said, ‘That guy’s great, Dad.’”
According to Trump, the meeting left Barron inspired. He described Kirk as having “a magic over the kids” and emphasized that his appeal reached across backgrounds — “black, white, very diverse,” Trump noted.
A Tragedy Witnessed Nationwide
Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was killed during an appearance at Utah Valley University on September 10. Known for his confrontational yet engaging speaking style, Kirk had drawn a large student audience for the first stop of his “American Comeback Tour.”
