Ongoing Investigation
The Civil Police, in turn, wasted no time and sent a forensics team to the crime scene. The objective was to collect evidence and information that would be fundamental to the investigations. The woman’s body was sent to the André Roquette Forensic Medical Institute, where examinations would be carried out to determine additional details about the cause of death. The man was taken to a specialized homicide police station, where he would be questioned and his version of the events would be recorded.
