And then, miraculously, doctors delivered another round of positive news: the cancer had been eradicated once more. The family’s pride in their little boy was immeasurable, and they dared to hope that perhaps, this time, the ordeal was over.
However, fate was merciless. In August 2017, only months after celebrating his remission, the family received a third devastating blow. Bailey’s cancer had returned, this time more aggressively than ever before.
Doctors explained that it had reached Stage Four, a stage where cancer had spread throughout his body, drastically diminishing the chances of successful treatment.
Tumors had now been discovered in his chest, lungs, liver, and stomach, leaving the family reeling from the grim prognosis that Bailey had only days, perhaps weeks, to live.
