Two months later, at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, he was granted permission to perform.

His perseverance and bravery in the face of such adversity deserve our admiration.

I’ve been depressed recently, partly because I can’t move as fast as I used to.

I can still sing and write very well, despite the fact that my movement is very limited and my mental state is mostly stable.
