Country music legend, Emmy-winning actress, and cultural icon Reba McEntire is officially back on set for the second season of her hit NBC sitcom Happy’s Place.
Fans are already buzzing with anticipation, not just for the show’s humor and heartwarming storylines, but also for the special dynamic this season brings — Reba working side-by-side with her fiancé, seasoned actor Rex Linn.
The show follows Reba’s character, Bobbie, who unexpectedly inherits a beloved Knoxville tavern following her father’s passing.

Bobbie finds herself balancing the challenges of running the tavern while managing a colorful, unconventional staff:
Gabby (Melissa Peterman), the endlessly upbeat bartender; Emmett (Rex Linn), the gruff yet kind-hearted kitchen veteran; Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), Bobbie’s estranged half-sister;
Steve (Pablo Castelblanco), the charming and ambitious barback; and Takoda (Takala Black Elk), the sharp-tongued, quick-witted server.
The ensemble’s chemistry, along with Reba’s comedic timing and warmth, quickly made Happy’s Place a Friday-night staple.
