What Happened to the S10 Driver?
After the accident, the Military Police went to the hospital where the pickup truck driver was being treated. Upon arrival, he agreed to take a breathalyzer test, but reportedly was unable to blow properly into the device, claiming he was unfit. However, the medical team confirmed that he showed visible signs of intoxication, and he remained under police escort.
Ongoing Investigation
The Civil Police are already investigating the case, and Maicon’s body has been sent to the Legal Medical Service (SML) in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim for further processing. The investigation is ongoing, and more information is expected to be revealed as the hearings progress. The driver of the S10 is expected to be taken to the police station upon discharge from the hospital.
