Some losses land with a weight that’s hard to put into words — and for Miranda Lambert, this one has been especially painful.
The country superstar, whose devotion to rescue animals is as well-known as her music, is grieving the loss of her longtime companion, her chihuahua Cher. After 15 years side by side, Miranda said goodbye to the tiny dog who was with her through nearly every chapter of her life — from red carpets and award shows to tour buses and quiet moments at home.
