In a post on Bluesky on January 7, Jennings wrote, “The ‘prosecute the former regime at every level’ candidate has my vote in 2028.” Simple. Straightforward. And exactly what many Trump critics wanted to hear. Reacting to his post, one fan called Jennings “the nicest person in entertainment,” while others appreciated how he skipped over any niceties when making this statement. “Yeah, I’m over the nice reconciliation thing. Some people need to go to jail,” someone commented.
Jennings also re-posted several Bluesky posts criticizing ICE, including one that read, “The murderer’s name is Jonathan Ross,” referring to the ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good. As he continued to share his thoughts, he noted in a separate post that he had “been a-blockin’ and a-mutin’ all afternoon,” suggesting that some people did not exactly agree with his perspective.
