Later, a dash cam video from a person driving to work on Wednesday morning showed a woman passing by walking alone. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said Tuesday that the person may have been Mendoza.

On Tuesday afternoon, authorities found a body in a field, approximately 100 years from Mendoa Olmo’s home. The area had previously been searched; however, authorities from the sheriff’s office and the FBI returned on Tuesday.

The field was covered in tall grass, prompting authorities to recheck it. A firearm was located at the scene, and according to Salazar, a gun that belonged to a relative of Camila had been missing. It was not clear if it was the same one. Continue reading…
