Nothing Plaskett did was shady at all. No, no — she was just texting a perfectly ordinary, totally typical constituent. You know, the kind every member of Congress has on speed dial: a billionaire sex trafficker calling shots during a congressional hearing.

First, it is quite uncommon for members of Congress to casually text with constituents during a hearing. Second, calling Epstein merely a “constituent” is akin to referring to Bill Cosby simply as a “Pudding Pop salesman” while ignoring his more significant and troubling history. Continue reading…
