Someone who understands their needs, sets boundaries, and communicates expectations clearly can be perceived as emotionally distant or “overly experienced.” Relationship studies suggest the opposite is often true. Emotional maturity usually grows from reflection and self-awareness, not from the number of relationships someone has had.
