At 55, the former First Lady is famously protective of her only child, Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump. Born in 2006, Barron is now 19 and has largely stayed out of the spotlight, though he has appeared more frequently in public since his father’s recent political campaigns.

Melania’s fierce protectiveness is well known. Reports previously claimed she was furious with her stepson Eric Trump after he publicly mentioned Barron speaking with Joe Biden during the inauguration in January. According to a source cited by British-American journalist Rob Shuter on his Substack last November, Melania allegedly shut the conversation down immediately, making it clear she never wants Barron discussed publicly. The source added that she was extremely uncomfortable and guards her son “like a lioness.”
