Her journey to stardom wasn’t paved with luxury or instant fame. Growing up in Nebraska and later moving to Washington state, she faced financial struggles and uncertainty. Despite the odds, she was determined to pursue acting, a dream that many around her deemed unrealistic. Her mother, Judy, was a constant source of support, encouraging her to follow her passion.
Even when it meant taking risks and making sacrifices. When her parents divorced, her mother made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles to help her daughter chase her dreams. Though financial difficulties persisted, she dedicated herself to auditions and small roles. Her first notable film appearance in The Next Karate Kid didn’t bring immediate fame.
