The Ipameri City Hall, in an official statement, expressed its condolences for the loss of the young student, declaring three days of mourning in Celina’s memory. The school where the girl studied, Nossa Senhora de Fátima Municipal School, suspended classes out of respect for the student’s memory, and teachers, including the education secretary, attended the wake and burial, which took place in Caldas Novas.
Accident Details
According to Fire Department Major Rodrigo André, there were five children and the driver in the van at the time of the accident. Celina’s brother was also present and suffered an injury, a bruise on his foot.
