12 US States Face Hazardous Winter Storm Warnings, Weather Forecast Through Saturday

Thick layers of freezing rain accumulated on trees, roadways, and power lines, creating treacherous conditions that have already led to widespread power outages. By Saturday morning, flight-tracking services reported over 1,500 cancellations and thousands of additional delays at major airports including JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark, further complicating holiday plans.
